Relief-moulded jardiniere, rural scenes

Polychrome glazed square jardiniere modelled in high relief with rural scenes.

The four panels show, left to right:
• Shepherd and dog, girls seated under tree, one reading a book;
• Shepherd with sheep approaching a seated mother with an infant;
• Girl playing with dog, baskets nearby and wheat field in background;
• Girl watching a gaggle of geese under the shade of a tree, water pump in the background.

Mark: Impressed SALOPIAN “diamond” mark
