Unusual loop-handled vase in the style of a basket, with a scalloped rim and an all-over streaked brown glaze.
Impressed into the body, low down near the base, are the letters J.A. & N.S. These are presumed to be the initials of two people. Was this piece made to mark an engagement or a wedding?
