- The Benthall Pottery Company produced a small range of Salopian Art Pottery with a black slip over a buff body, decorated with slip-painted designs and some incised lines.
- The slip painting shows influence from Classical designs in the use of the anthemion (honeysuckle) flower and Greek key (meander) motifs.
- This range is considered to be early 20th century.
